Welcome to the Vibra Chune pilot

Thank you for helping us build Vibra Chune: a home for Sierra Leonean music, where artists set their own prices and fans buy songs straight from them.

Please remember

This is a test version. Things will break. That is why you are here.
No real money moves. Buying is free and earnings are test figures.
You are testing the app, not being tested. If something is confusing, that is our fault, so please tell us.
Never send money to anyone because of Vibra Chune.

Getting started

Open vibrachune.netlify.app in Chrome (or Safari on an iPhone).
Create your account. Choose fan, artist or label, and agree to the Pilot terms.
Install the app. On Android, open the Chrome menu and press Install app (or use the orange Install bar). On an iPhone, press Share, then Add to Home Screen.

Your tasks

Tick each task when you finish it. Your ticks are saved on this phone. If you are stuck for more than two minutes, don't give up quietly: press Feedback in the orange bar at the top and tell us. You can also WhatsApp us: [your WhatsApp number].

I am a fan (about 25 minutes)

Create a fan account and put the app on your home screen.
Find a song. Listen to its 10-second preview, then buy it.
Play the whole song. If it has lyrics, touch the lyrics box.
Like the song, and add it to a new playlist with the ＋ button.
Follow an artist with "Padi am".
Download a song with the ⬇ button. Switch on airplane mode, open the app, and play it.
Look at the charts. Share a song or a chart on WhatsApp with the ↗ button.
Try "Report this release" on any release and write the word "test" in the details.
Send feedback: one thing you liked and one thing that confused you.

I am an artist (about 45 minutes)

I am a label (about 45 minutes)

Create a label account and agree to the terms.
In the Studio, open "Add an artist to your label" and add two artists.
Upload a song for one of your artists ("Single artist").
Upload a song for two artists together ("Multiple artists").
Open the Artists button. See how each artist is doing, and change one artist's profile picture.
Send feedback about the one thing that confused you most.
