Pilot terms

1. What this is

The Vibra Chune pilot is a closed test of a website and app for buying and selling Sierra Leonean music. It is not the finished product. Things will break, change or disappear, and that is why you are here.

2. No real money

During the pilot, nothing you buy or earn is real money. Songs are free to buy, the earnings shown to artists and labels are test figures, and nothing can be withdrawn. Never send anyone money because of Vibra Chune.

3. Who can take part

You must be [18] or older, or have a parent or guardian's permission. Please use one account per person, keep your password secret, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

4. Fans

• You may listen to music and keep songs you "buy" on your own devices for your own enjoyment.
• Do not copy, sell, or share song files, and do not try to get around the 10-second previews.
• You may share a short lyric card or a link to a song, but not whole songs or full lyrics.

5. Artists and labels

• Only upload music you own or have permission to sell. This includes the song, the lyrics, the cover picture, the names you credit, and any samples. If someone else owns part of it, you must have their written permission.
• You keep ownership of your work. You give Vibra Chune permission to store it, play it, show previews, lyrics, your note and your cover, and share it inside the app, for as long as it is on Vibra Chune and only to run the service.
• You choose your prices. In the finished service, Vibra Chune would keep 35% of each sale and you would keep 65%. During the pilot these are test figures only.
• Choose "Explicit" for any song with strong language or adult themes. Labelling honestly is your responsibility.
• If you credit another artist, they must accept the credit before the song goes public.
• We may take down music that is reported as stolen, wrongly credited, unlawful or against these terms. We will try to tell you why.

6. What you must not do

• Upload stolen music, or anything unlawful, hateful, threatening, or sexual involving children.
• Create fake accounts, or play or buy songs in order to push up charts or earnings.
• Attack, overload, or try to break into the service, or look at other people's private information.

7. Your feedback

We welcome it. By sending feedback you let us use it to improve Vibra Chune, without paying you. Please never put your password in a feedback message.

8. Your information

Please read our Privacy policy. To delete your account, write to vibrachune@gmail.com.

9. When the pilot ends

The pilot runs until December 31, 2026. When it ends, we may erase all test data (accounts, uploads, purchases and plays) or carry it over to the real service. We will tell you at least [7] days before. You always keep your own music files, so please keep copies.

10. Stopping

You may stop at any time. We may suspend an account or end the pilot at any time, especially if these terms are broken.

11. No promises

We do our best, but during the pilot we cannot promise the service will always work, or that nothing will be lost.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sierra Leone.
